1951 Ford F-1 Panel Truck custom for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this awesome 1951 Ford F-1 Panel Truck Custom featured in Cranberry Pearl paint with tan and red interior. This truck was professionally built to be a competitive custom show car, or an outrageous street cruiser. The body has been chopped 4 and the rear doors have been sectioned 2 and chopped 2. The truck is fitted with a new 383CI block with 4-bolt main, H-beam rods, steel crank, double roller timing chain, and more. The engine is topped by a polished B&M Mega blower fitted with two 650 CFM blower carbs. Power output is rated at 665HP! Additional engine compartment features include polished billet valve covers, polished aluminum radiator with electric fan and controller, and MSD ignition. The engine is mated to a race-spec Turbo-Hydramatic 400 with reverse manual valve body. The new driveshaft is coupled to a Currie shortened 9 rear with Moser posi and 4:56 gears. You will find Wilwood racing disc brakes at all four corners, with custom-weld 17 forged front rims and deep dish rear rims. The truck is lowered 6 and has 10-way adjustable coil overs. The truck has been tubbed to fit 21 wide rear tires. Styling touches include stainless steel bumpers and Lucas tri-bar headlamps. The motor is currently de-tuned to be tractable on the street, but you can swap the upper and lower blower pulleys for the maximum boost and power. The interior features a pair of bucket seats, a wood rim steering wheel on a tilt column, and all new vintage-style gauges. The cargo compartment is fully finished with an upholstered headliner, polished wood floor, and polished wood slats lining the inner sidewalls. You will notice that the battery was located to a position on the floor forward of the shifter with the intention that it be concealed by a loor console. We are told that parts are included to complete the console, and that additional parts include a power steering conversion kit. Our shop can personalize any of these details to suit the desires of the next owner. We are told that the truck has over $110,000 invested in the build. This Ford F-1 would be ideally suited as a promotional vehicle for an enthusiast with a business, which might offer a tax benefit, as it has plenty of room for lettering or custom graphics. This Ford is a great fun truck. Are you ready to own the fastest custom hauler in town?
