1953 Chevrolet Corvette for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1953 Chevrolet Corvette (#E53F001168) featured in Polo White with Red interior. This significant Corvette is one of only 300 made in 1953. It received a nut & bolt restoration about 15 years ago with the original body that was never hit and all original parts including the motor, gearbox, and all the little detail parts that are often missing or changed. The car was acquired from long-term ownership in a Silver Springs, Maryland Museum collection. Documentation includes judging score sheets from Hershey AACA and all its NCRS events. All gauges work, its' original radio works once the tubes warm. It has its original Chevrolet dealership knob cardboard tags including radio instruction knobs. This car is one of only 48 1953 Corvettes that have been submitted for NCRS Top Flight judging, and it is one of only 22 examples that were successfully conferred with the Top Flight award. The car was recently inspected and authenticated by two senior NCRS judges whose opinion is available to prospective purchasers and who summarized by saying that this car is, One of the most original 1953 Corvettes in existence.
