This is an early 1957 model with the 1489 cc engine fitted with twin H4 type SU Carburettors producing 72 hp. Mated to a four-speed manual transmission the MGA features independent front suspension, rack-and-pinion steering and a solid rear axle with leaf springs that delivery the kind of lively handling that British roadsters are known for. It has Lockheed hydraulic drum brakes on all wheels. The most recent owner cherished the car for over twenty years and has receipts and documentation for a total off-frame not and bolt restoration that he completed about ten years ago.
