1963 TRIUMPH TR4 SURREY TOP for sale. Motorcar Classics is excited to offer this delightful 1963 Triumph TR4 with the rare Surrey Top option. The car is featured in Signal Red with Black leather seats with contrasting White piping. The TR4 is one of the prettiest of 1960s British roadsters, with beautiful lines by Michelotti. Not many Triumph TRs survived in an unmolested state, but this is one such car. An original overdrive car equipped with the Surrey top which employed a fixed rear window and removable center section (about five years before the introduction of the Porsche Targa). A very solid example to begin with, this car was subjected to a comprehensive body off, nut & bolt restoration in 2008 to very high standards. The car rides on American Racing Mags and all powertrain components are the factory originals. This is the best driving TR4 we have had the pleasure to offer. It is a superb example.
