Motorcar Classics is proud to present this stunning 1964 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 roadster featured in British Racing Green with Black leather interior, Black wool carpets and Black convertible top. This beautiful big Healey was restored down to the last nut & bolt by marque expert Knut Holzer of British Motor Corp in Philadelphia, PA. The restoration was completed in 2008 and it has been driven less than 5,000 miles since completion. It features sparkling chrome wire wheels and Lucas Fog Ranger lamps. Upgrades include Hot Mat under-carpeting for insulation, Dennis Welch Racing high-capacity radiator with custom shroud for improved cooling, electronic ignition, and modern alternator for reliable electric power. In addition to the delightful soundtrack provided by the hearty drivetrain, the car has a custom 200-watt stereo system with the amplifier located in a carpeted enclosure in the trunk and the radio head unit concealed in the glovebox. There are custom speaker enclosures in both foot wheels. A modern 12 volt cigarette lighter socket is installed for conveniently powering accessory devices.The car looks great in these iconic colors, and is an absolute delight to drive.
