Powered by Chevrolets 396cid/425hp 4bbl L78 V8 with 4-speed manual gearbox, this car is the most potent of the 1965 Corvette range. Factory options include matching removable hard top, whitewall tires, knock-off wheels, teakwood steering wheel, telescopic steering wheel, power brakes, side exhaust, and AM/FM radio. This car was the subject of a complete nut & bolt restoration about ten years ago, and it won Bloomington Gold in 2010. Of course all numbers match. While we see many mid-year Corvettes, this car is exceptional in fit and finish. The gaps are the best we have seen and the doors close with a reassuring thunk. It is likely that the car did not look as good when it left the factory and it still presents in concours condition.
