1965 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 396 ROADSTER for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this awesome 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster featured in Marlboro Maroon with white interior. Powered by Chevrolets 396cid/425hp 4bbl L78 V8 with 4-speed manual gearbox, this car is the most potent of the 1965 Corvette range. Factory options include matching removable hard top, whitewall tires, knock-off wheels, teakwood steering wheel, telescopic steering wheel, power brakes, side exhaust, and AM/FM radio. This car was the subject of a complete nut & bolt restoration about ten years ago, and it won Bloomington Gold in 2010. Of course all numbers match. While we see many mid-year Corvettes, this car is exceptional in fit and finish. The gaps are the best we have seen and the doors close with a reassuring thunk. It is likely that the car did not look as good when it left the factory and it still presents in concours condition. If you are looking to invest in a C2 Corvette, this car deserves your serious attention.
