1967 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500E Super Snake "Eleanor" for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this legendary Shelby Mustang GT500E, #26 of only 42 ever made by Unique Performance. This is a REAL Shelby continuation car from the Continuation Project with Carroll Shelby. This example is presented in Ebony Black with Pepper Grey stripes. Only 2,466 1-owner miles! In 2014 this Mustang went through additional restoration work and tuning done by renowned Revved Automotive Concepts in Pilot Point Texas, totaling over $75,000! Here the CSE SS026 underwent a vehicle upgrade package to correct some chronic Unique Performance issues as well as upgrades such as power brakes and an amplified stereo system to improve drivability, performance and durability. In addition to the mechanical items, CSE SS026 underwent extensive body repairs. The front fiberglass panels have been separated and are now serviceable individually. Excessive body filler has been stripped from the vehicle and the fiberglass work redone prior to repainting the entire vehicle in Ebony Black with Pepper Grey stripes. All work and receipts are documented and come with the car. This may be the last time a real Unique Performance Eleanor comes to market for a very long time, do not hesitate!
