1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SE Cabriolet for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this stunning 1967 Mercedes 250SE Cabriolet. It is a US-spec Model featured in Silver with Black leather interior and Black canvas top. It is properly optioned with automatic transmission, A/C, power steering and brakes. The car has 55,407 miles and retains its original engine (#003902). It is a California car reportedly purchased in 1973 by a Pacific Palisades CA couple who owned it for 30 years after which they sold it to their neighbor who owned it for another 10. Around 2013 it was purchased by the owner of the service facility who maintained it for the last known 30+ years - Pacific Motors on Pico Blvd in Santa Monica. They did a sympathetic restoration on the car, stripping it to bare metal for paint, removing the engine for access to engine bay and doing a total repaint in Silver. The suspension, brakes, and undercarriage components were detailed, and components repaired or replaced as needed. The car is superb order. With a recent valve job and A/C overhaul, it runs superbly with a nice, smooth gear shifting, excellent brakes and steering. It has also had bumpers rechromed and five new Michelin tires fitted. In the restoration it received a new canvas soft top and wool roof liner, new seats front and back, new door panels, sun visors and carpets and the wood was refinished to a beautiful standard. It is ready to drive or show with pride.
