Originally delivered as a 400CI 442 with automatic transmission and 3:23 rear, the car was purchased by an experienced enthusiast who owned a similar 442 in his youth that was upgraded to a 454CI Chevy Big Block. He commissioned a highly respected shop to convert this 442 as a tribute to the earlier car with the added benefits that modern technology offers. The build is documented with receipts, photos, and a detailed bill of materials, and all of the original matching number components from the car have been saved and are included with the purchase of the car. The car has a fresh 502CI crate motor that is labelled 454 and estimated to produce about 425 HP. It is running a Muncie 4-Speed with Hurst shifter, and 3:73 rear. Power front disc brakes with dual-circuit master cylinder, Power steering, Power windows, Holley carb, Edelbrock Performer intake, Hooker Headers, Cragar SS wheels, MSD ignition, are all part of the extensive equipment, and the decals and livery are computer-generated replicas that recreate the Old School look of this modern version of a late 1960s iconic muscle car.
