1969 Volvo P1800S for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this one family owned 1969 Volvo 1800S finished in Dark green over brown leather interior. Under the hood is the 2.0 liter engine attached to a manual transmission.
The 1969 Volvo 1800S is the lowest production run year for the car with only 1,693 built that year. It is the only year to have the larger 2.0L motor with dual zenith stromberg carburetors.The following year was fuel injected. Volvo historian Per Groth contacted the owner a few years ago asking to put this vehicle in his book about the1800's.
Some of the recent mechanical work that has been done over the past few years include: new front calipers and brakes in 2014 @ 73,673 miles; a new oem exhaust system, installed pertronix electronic ignition, new upper and lower hoses, and fresh transmission fluid and rear diff fluid in 2016 @ 75,843 miles; wheel cylinder, u joints, rear drums, shoes and prop valves replaced along with e-brake fixed in May 2021 @ 77,750 miles; replaced rear diff cover gasket and new gear oil in June 2022 @ 78,511 miles. It had a bare metal, windows out paint refinish 20 years ago in the original Volvo #94 Dark Green paint code. The leather front seats were replaced around that time as well as the Panasport wheels.
