Motorcar Classics is proud to present this beautifully restored 1970 Chevelle SS454 tribute car featured in black with the SS stripes painted over the cowl induction hood, roof, and rear decklid. The interior is done in black vinyl with sport bucket seats and console. This vehicle was the subject of a complete restoration around 10 years ago, but the car still makes an awesome presentation. While not originally a Super Sport, the car was built with the correct components to replicate a proper SS. It was originally built as a SS396, as the fender badges show, but the engine was later upgraded to a stonking 454/450 big-block V8 as featured in the iconic LS6, paired with a 4-speed manual Muncie transmission and backed by a 12-bolt 3:73 posi rear . This handsome SS is also equipped with power steering, power brakes, new cold case radiator and all new sway bars. Premium aftermarket gauges add a nice touch to this classic, along with the retro-style stereo radio. This Chevelle is well-sorted and drives with the adrenaline rush of a genuine LS6.
