1972 MG MGB for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this delightful 1972 MGB Roadster featured in Tungsten Gun Metal Grey Metallic with black leather interior and black Haartz canvas convertible top. This car comes to us from 30 years in the same family ownership. It benefits from an expert rotisserie restoration. The engine is rebuilt and set up to run unleaded fuel. It was upgraded with a Weber downdraft carburetor, 9:1 compression, mild street camshaft, and header with performance exhaust. The factory 4-speed with overdrive transmission was rebuilt. A high capacity aluminum radiator and electric fan keep things cool on hot days. The suspension is rebuilt with urethane bushings and new king pins. The rear has new leaf springs. The leather interior was sourced from the UK and the floors are covered in plush carpet. The canvas roof is a vast improvement over the original vinyl roof. All the glass is new. There is a new set of sparkling Dayton wire wheels running tubeless tires and all of the brightwork is superb. In the cabin you find an upgraded wood rim steering wheel and Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth. The original jack and brass hammer are present. This fine MGB is fully-sorted and it was built for improved performance, handling and reliability. This MGB is highly recommended.
