1983 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this elegant 1983 Rolls Royce Silver Spur featured in Georgian Silver with a Black Everflex roof over Black leather piped pale Grey. It is powered by Rolls iconic 6.75L V8 with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Cherished from new, it has covered only 10,315 miles. This Mark I Silver Spur includes the owners manuals, early registration documents, and an unblemished Carfax report. The Silver Spur is the more formal, long-wheelbase version of the concurrently produced Silver Spirit sedan, and it is loaded with luxury amenities including the folding writing table to the rear. The car is equipped with a factory hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension with a Girling hydraulic ride height control system. 15″ steel wheels have black-accented stainless covers and fresh Vogue Classic White tires were fitted in June 2019. Instrumentation includes a 140-mph Jaeger speedometer, Jaeger combination gauge, and an array of warning lights. Additional equipment includes a digital VDO outside temperature/clock display in the dash, a Blaupunkt Washington SQR cassette radio, an air conditioning system, and power front seats, windows, door locks, and side mirrors. The original MSRP was $109,900. This superb Rolls shows only slight patina and it drives as-new. Seated behind the classic Rolls steering wheel, the view down the hood is dominated by the polished stainless grille that is topped by the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy ornament. Every drive in a Rolls like this is an occasion.
