1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC Sport Coupe for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this beautifully original 1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 with the IROC Sport Equipment Package. Offered as an option package on the Z28, the Camaro IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the "wonder bar", a special decal package, and an optional Tuned Port Injection system taken from the Chevrolet Corvette. The Camaro IROC-Z was on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 1985. This Z28 is featured in black with grey velour interior. It is powered by Chevrolets 5.0L (305CI) Tuned Port Injection V8 rated at 190HP and has the Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic gearbox. The original owner had the car through 2018 at which time it was purchased by the second owner. The mileage is 37,053. (Note that the Carfax lists a small odometer discrepancy which is not uncommon and we believe to be a clerical error at about the time ownership transferred). This Z28 has all original paint and interior and remains in near showroom condition. It is well-equipped and delightful to drive. It has never been damaged or modified. These third generation Camaros are becoming collectible and this fine example is the car you want, whether it is to collect or to drive.
