There just aren't many vehicles on the road that are as rugged yet stylish as this one.
The interior was thoroughly refurbished as the other steps of the restoration were taking place to make for an outstanding driving environment. A pair of black leather Exmoor bucket seats replace the originals, offering a nice blend of comfort and support, and the matching set of jump seats on board in back is just another feature that increases this vehicle's old school charm while adding functionality - all told, this Land Rover can accommodate no less than nine people, should the situation warrant. At its center, a sizable touchscreen controls the Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo that also offers both iPod and satellite connectivity while teaming with an assortment of JL speakers throughout the cabin to provide a quality audio experience. Should your journeys take you into heated climates, you'll be well-prepared, as the air conditioning is blowing cold and strong.
A freshened 3.5 liter V8, almost certainly the original powerplant, propels this agile classic with gusto. As the engine was being thoroughly rebuilt just 1500 miles back, it was armed with a new Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and intake manifold to maximize its output, and now wears an Edelbrock air cleaner and chrome valve covers at its sides and pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission that's optimally geared for both brisk off the line acceleration and nice, easy cruising on the highway. The lever to engage the four-wheel drive surefootedness sits within very easy reach of the driver inside the cabin. Close attention to detail and the selection of just the right components have left this Land Rover in top driving condition - it really runs great and is surprisingly smooth, thanks to its upgraded coil suspension at both ends. Power brakes that position discs in front bring prompt stops and the featured power steering is smooth yet responsive. A set of ultra-sharp 18" black steel wheels provides just the right finishing touch. Your inspection is invited!
