1990 Ferrari Testarossa for sale! Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this rare and stunning Testarossa presented in special-ordered Medium Blue Metallic with Tan and Navy Blue interior. Equipped with a 4.9L flat-12 and iconic 5 speed manual gearbox with only 18,302 original miles!
Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, air conditioning, a dealer-added Kenwood stereo, Tubi exhaust, 16 alloy wheels and original exhaust included. The window sticker, sales/service records and factory tools/manuals are also included in the sale.
This Testarossa is reportedly to be a 4-owner car from new. In 2014 the car received a Platinum Award at the Concorso Italiano during Monterey Car Week in California. An engine-out service was performed in early 2020 in which the fluids were changed and the timing belts, tensioners, drive belts, spark plugs, and hoses were replaced and again more recently in January of 2025 in which an engine out service was performed.
The body is finished in Blu Medio Metallizzato (FER 506/C), and the Glasurit paint-code sticker is viewable in the photo gallery. The car was delivered new with tinted glass as well as a dealer-installed spoiler guard. Factory alloy wheels measure 16 x 8 wide up front and 10 wide at the rear. They show Ferrari castings and are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires. Braking is handled by ventilated discs at each corner, and the system was flushed in early 2020.
The special-ordered interior features bolstered bucket seats with tan Connolly leather upholstery over navy blue carpeting that is protected by patterned mats. Features include a gated shifter and air conditioning, while a dealer-installed Kenwood KRC710 cassette stereo is housed beneath a pop-up leather cover in the center of the dashboard. A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a navy blue leather-covered dash. Factory Veglia instrumentation includes a 10k-rpm tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges, two of which are located in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows just over 18,302k miles.
The mid-mounted 4,943cc Tipo F113 flat-12 features 48 valves as well as Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection to produce a factory-rated 385 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. A Tubi exhaust has been installed, and the removed factory components will accompany the car. An engine-out service performed in early 2020 included an oil change and coolant flush as well as replacing the timing belts, Hill Engineering belt tensioners, spark plugs, and hoses. Service records are available from 1990 onward.
The window sticker shows factory equipment and a total suggested retail price of $162,250. Accompanying sales paperwork indicates a final price of $177,639 after accessories, taxes, and fees, and included paperwork from Hollywood Sport Cars has handwritten notes regarding the special-order color scheme. Do not miss this opportunity to own this iconic Testarossa, your inspection is invited!
