2001 T-Rex Sport Utility Custom Hummer Recreation by Jurassic Trucks. Meet the T-REX, a Hummer replica built in the late 1990's early 2000's by a small outfit from Arlington, Texas, known as the Jurassic Truck Corporation. The Jurassic Truck Corporation was the result of a partnership between Texans Tim Barton and Steve Spencer, who saw the market for a less expensive and lightweight Hummer alternative. Their answer was the T-REX, which Barton engineered and retailed in two steel-bodied kit formsan unassembled vehicle and a more expensive rolling chassis option. Weighed 2,000 pounds less than its counterpart Hummer and much quicker and nimbler to drive, the T-Rex was a popular yet short lasting production, with supposedly only around 115 units being made.
Our R-Tex has been well preserved with only 15 original miles and in excellent condition. Options include: General Motors 6-Liter crate engine, General motors 4L80E automatic transmission with 2-speed transfer case, Power steering and brakes, Dual exhaust, K&N cold air intake system, Mickey Thompson performance alloy wheels, Mickey Thompson 35x17.50 15 LT tires, B&M shifter, Grant GT steering wheel, Beige leather seating, Custom passenger protection padded roll bar, Tan soft top with matching side curtains.
