2006 Hummer H1 Alpha for sale! Motorcar Classics is proud to present this awesome 2006 AM General Hummer H1 Alpha powered by the iconic 6.6L Duramax diesel with Allison Automatic transmission. Introduced in 1992 as a civilian-friendly version of AM General's M998 Humvee, the H1 remained the foundation of the Hummer brand for close to two decades. It is reported that this final-year rig spent most of its life confined to pavement in the hands of an AM General executive. Then, around two or three years ago, the truck was passed to Kascar, LLC, one of few remaining designated AM General service centers, for a complete restoration. Tilt this Hummer's hood and you'll find 6.6 liters of world class Duramax Diesel mated to a 5-speed Allison transmission.
Power-assisted steering makes driving easy. Power-assisted HMMWV discs are mounted inboard for the sake of durability. And at the corners, two-piece alloys are wrapped with 37x12.50R17 OEM Goodyear Wrangler GS-A's around connected to a standard Central Tire Inflation System. In the cabin, Saddle-trimmed leather buckets feature heat for the front passengers and audio for the rear passengers. A chunky, two-tone dash mounts intricate telemetry next to factory climate control and modern Kenwood audio.
