1967 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK BULLITT TRIBUTE for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to present this 1967 Mustang Fastback which has been fully restored and upgraded in the iconic style of the 1968 Fastback made famous by Steve McQueen in the film Bullitt, featuring perhaps one of the most famous chase scenes of all time. This car is finished in Highland Green with American Racing mag wheels, like the film car. It is currently fitted with black Recaro sport seats which provide the kind of support and security you would want to drive this car in McQueen style, but the original front seats are available. This car is running a Ford 351CI V8 tuned to put out about 400 HP. The gearbox is a Tremec TKO600 5-speed. There are disc brakes all around to match the cars performance capability. Vintage AC keeps the passenger compartment comfortable in the warmest weather, and a high-power stereo provides great sound and Bluetooth connectivity. In all, the history file shows about $40K invested to make this one the best best driving 60s Mustangs we have had the pleasure to offer.
The following modifications were made to the 1967 car to convert it to 1968 specifications so that it could be a true Bullitt Clone:
Second torque box added to front body for additional chassis stiffness
Full 1968 quarter panels installed
Early 1968 rear side marker reflectors added to match the movie car

1968 4-turn steering box and collapsible steering column used for added safety
