1994 Mazda RX-7 for sale. Motorcar classics is proud to present this 1994 Mazda RX-7 featured in Montego Blue Mica with a black cloth interior. It is a Carfax-Certified one-owner California car that has been cherished from new and covered only 70,727 miles. The car was purchased new from Anaheim Mazda in February 1994 with a MSRP of $34,445 shown on the included window sticker.
Mazdas 1.3-liter 13B-REW Wankel engine utilizes sequential twin turbochargers to produce a factory-rated 255 horsepower and 217 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission and a standard Torsen limited-slip differential. Modifications are said to be limited to adjustable shocks, stainless-steel exhaust, a passenger airbag switch, and aftermarket audio components. The documentation includes service records from new, the window sticker, and owners manuals. Factory 16 x 8 alloy wheels are fitted with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires installed in January 2013. Adjustable Tokico Illumina shocks replace the original-style Tokico units, and an alignment was completed in 2016 following tie-rod end replacement. The interior features black cloth upholstery on the sport bucket seats with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, gearshift knob, and handbrake handle. A passenger airbag switch reportedly was put in by a NHTSA-approved installer. A Bluetooth-capable Sony stereo and upgraded speakers have been fitted. A custom stainless-steel exhaust has been installed.
This is truly an investment-grade RX-7 with no damage or paintwork. Japanese sports cars of this period are among the hottest segments of the collector car market and we have not seen another RX-7 of this generation that is so well-preserved. It is a delight to drive and can be shown with pride.
